This was a pleasant stay with another night. Very helpful staff gave advice on things to do. The hotel had comfy and unbeatable location near to Rockhampton Zoo and gardens, shops and takeaways. Lucky that it was at a moderate distance from Hungry Jack's, offering food to go.

I stayed at the Fitzroy Motor Inn for a weekend getaway with my husband. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Despite the tight car park in front of Room 1, the manager came out and expertly directed my husband as he backed the car in. The room was clean and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom equipped with great shower facilities. The location was also convenient, especially if you need to catch an early morning bus. The room had great blinds that effectively blocked out the street light, ensuring a good night's sleep. Additionally, the room had all the necessary amenities, including a small fridge, toaster, kettle, and microwave. The provision of bathroom toiletries was a nice touch. our stay at the Fitzroy Motor Inn was delightful and we were impressed with the attention to detail and customer service.

I really appreciated the fact that the rooms are opened and aired when they are unoccupied. Also windows could be opened to allow fresh air. Room smelt and felt fresh and clean without heavy chemical cleaner smells. Staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. The motel is situated near the centre of the city, walking distance from many food and fuel outlets and on main roads giving easy access to all areas of Rockhampton and surrounding areas.

Nice pool, parking onsite. Everything perfect. Comfortable and perfect location, just a pleasant stroll away from Dreamtime Cultural Centre. Busy area near city centre, a good cafe nearby, and local shops and restaurants.
